About Cici Tung

Cici Tung’s hometown is Nanjing, the ancient capital of six dynasties, while she spent her early years growing up in the icy northern “Spring City.” The green-skin trains rumbling along the Beijing–Harbin and Beijing–Shanghai lines was like a thread running straight through her childhood and adolescence.

In her youth, she published essays in NUYOU Magazine, with her work later included in the anthology Love Without Distance. She carries the candor and openness of the North, tempered by the quiet depth and poetic sensibility of the South. A curious blend of literary romantic and engineering mind, she crossed oceans to study in the United States and eventually settled in Silicon Valley, California.

These days, she navigates the workplace like a seasoned fighter, while still finding time to enjoy a bit of “melon-eating” on the sidelines (because even warriors need gossip). Together with her husband, she cares for three aging parents and raises two delightful daughters..

In this era of rapid AI transformation, she looks to history as a mirror and to people as her guide, listening, reflecting, writing, and, along the way, refining her emotional intelligence.

She is grateful for every encounter and cherishes each spark of resonance that leaps from one piece of writing to another. On this winding road of time, she hopes that no matter how many years pass, she will remain true to her beginnings, and return, still, a young soul at heart.

董希希的家乡在六朝古都南京，少时长于冰天雪地的北国春城。绿皮火车行过的京哈线和京沪线贯穿了她的童年和少年。青春年少时她曾在《女友》杂志发表过文章，作品收录在杂志编著的《有爱无间》青春作品集。她有着北方的真诚和爽朗，也含着江南的底蕴和诗意。文学小青年的浪漫+理工女的逻辑，陪伴她漂洋过海留学美国，后定居美国加州硅谷。如今她在职场中一边厮杀，一边吃瓜。她与先生携手，上照护三位父母，下教养两个可爱的女儿。在这个AI飞速跃迁的时代，她以史为镜，以人为鉴，聆听，感悟，码字，顺带修炼情商。 她感恩每一次相遇，珍惜每一次文字的共鸣飞溅的火花。在岁月这条蜿蜒的道路上，她希望不论过了多久，她依然不忘初心，归来仍是少年。
